Commercial operations are located in the central region of Michigan, southern Illinois/Indiana, the panhandle and mid sections of Florida. The majority of acres are farmed in southwest Michigan. High quality seed potatoes are grown in isolated areas of both the northern Lower Peninsula and eastern region of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Our goal at Walther Farms is to consistently be a premier grower and supplier of potatoes for both the chip and fresh table stock industries. We take great strides to grow high quality potatoes and provide superior customer service during both our fresh crop and storage seasons.

Walther Farms is a 3rd generation family owned business headquartered in the Southwest region of Michigan. Beginning in the 1940’s, the company expanded from a few vegetable acres of backyard hobby farming, to what has now become over 8,000 acres of commercial and seed potatoes grown throughout the United States for the potato chip and fresh table stock markets.
