Polish Sausage & Potatoes

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 3 Tbl flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/2 t pepper
- 1 1/2 t mustard
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- 1 ring of polish sausage
- 5-6 large potatoes
Preparation
Boil potatoes until tender let cool. Melt butter and sauté onions, stir in flour and then add milk slowly. Boil until thick stirring often add salt, pepper and mustard remove from heat and add 1 1/2 cups cheese.
Layer sliced potatoes and a layer of sliced sausage pour half of the cheese mixture over layer. Layer more potatoes and sausage pour remaining cheese mixture over sausage and sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cut of cheese. Bake @ 350 for 45-60 minutes. |
